Since 2013, Save the Children has provided assistance to its Syrian partners in reaching besieged and out-of-reach areas to deliver aid to affected families. Aid includes food parcels, facilitating the continual running of schools, repair of water systems, distribution of hygiene kits, setting up of child-friendly spaces and provision of psychological support for children affected by the violence.
Through Save the Children's partnership with their Syrian counterparts, they have managed to avail much needed help to more than 500,000 children in isolated and besieged areas in Syria.
